I’m Kako J. Mavalla, based in London, dedicated to shaping the future of governance and impact.

I am a chartered governance professional with experience across a range of industries, including cinema, mining, retail, pharmaceuticals, legal, and technology, advising London Stock Exchange-listed companies (premium and standard) and private companies on governance and compliance while supporting boards in the daily management.

Over the decade, I’ve gained valuable experience in coordinating youth organisations and developed a strong foundation in mediation and conflict resolution. I am a keen analytical strategist, a team player with a keen eye for detail, and a leader with strong administrative, negotiation, and peacebuilding skills.

As co-founder of the United Youth Circuit, I helped grow an international youth movement prioritises peace and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) across 50+ countries with over 20,000 members. My leadership journey began as President of the Babcock University Student Association, where I studied International Law and Diplomacy, later becoming an Associate Arbitrator with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb, UK) and gaining hands-on experience in mediation with the Ministry of Justice.

During my NYSC Corps service, I served as President of the Legal Aid Scheme, leading human rights campaigns in public schools, organizing anti-rape awareness programs, publishing a legal journal, and conducting a prison outreach program that helped secure the release of over 31 wrongfully imprisoned inmates through free legal representation.

My key specialities include corporate governance, compliance, alternative dispute resolution, NGO management, and international law. I am passionate about peacebuilding and dedicated to social development, leveraging my skills to promote impactful governance and sustainable change across diverse communities.
